Kenarri Johnson, 31, of Frisco was arrested on a murder charge.

A 30-year-old man fatally shot in Frisco apartment complex.  Soon after, a man was arrested and accused of the crime.

It was just before 1:30 a.m. on a Wednesday when officers were dispatched to an apartment complex in the 4800 block of Grand Gate Way.  The apartment complex was located in just northwest of the intersection of John Hickman Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway.  A weapons had been the complaint.

When officers arrived they found a 30-year-old man fatally shot in Frisco apartment complex.  Donavan Stephney was in the parking garage of the complex, police said.  A suspect named Kenarri Johnson, 31, was arrested and charged with murder.  Police found him at the apartment complex.  Investigators believe Johnson and the victim knew each other, police said.

Johnson remained at the Collin County jail on Wednesday, his bail has was set at $250,000. It is unclear whether he had an attorney or made contact with a bail bonds service.
